Because of its high rotation, the turbocharger is a really delicate device. Most of damage cases are due to fault of engine, wrong working of the injection/starting system and of the exhaust system. Replacing and overhauling it do not solve the problem if the components are not analysed.
Before providing a turbocharger, Rifino Racing inspects the broken components of the return. The turbo filters all engine's problems: carburation, exhaust gas temperatures, oil, water, aspirated air, exhaust, catalyser, pressure and possible fragments coming out the engine.
These are just some of the breaking causes. Turbocharger manufacturers suggest to revise it every 50.000 km, otherwise the turbocharger is going to break repeatedly.

Often, when a supercharged engine is designed, the turbocharger is already present. In the supercharged engine´s design, car manufacturers particularly consider the economic aspect, leaving out technical realization. That is why the installed turbochargers can always be improved. Every supercharged engine can be optimized in terms of consumption, efficiency and reliability.
